We have retained the  management services of Devereaux Property Management for the past year in respect to an apartment building in downtown Red Deer. We have been very pleased with their prompt, efficient and personal service. Their reports are timely and informative. Bill and Dale took over the management of our five Red Deer Buildings in the summer of 2017. Our buildings comprise exactly 200,000 square feet. Four of the five buildings are on Gaetz Avenue and the fifth is in the Riverside Industrial Park. These gentlemen have done an outstanding job. I simply cannot offer one suggestion on how they could be better. I have been in the real estate investment business for 47 years and management just doesn't get any better. I have toured their offices and found they are very neat and well organized. Their reports are exactly what I specified. Account Receivable are as low as they could be. Problems, large and small, get attended to immediately. The tenants are very happy with their management. The buildings are kept up to a high standard of maintenance that I have always required. Our company retained the management services of Devereaux Management in May 2017 to assist with a 24 suite apartment in Red Deer, Alberta. At that time the property was self-managed and was suffering from an increased vacancy rate due to a combination of the economic downturn, mismanagement and a considerable amount of deferred maintenance. Under the guidance of Dale, Bill and their team the property has been cleaned up and rented out to quality tenants. They have effectively managed the renovation, both full and partial, of 12 suites in a timely and cost efficient manner. Throughout this process I have found Dale and Bill to be accessible, knowledgeable and candid. They have good sense of current market conditions and have developed solid relationships with their trades and contractors. It is also evident from on-site visits with them that they have developed a good relationship with tenants and neighbors.
